The Police Division shall provide escort services to any business or industry in the city at the request of said business or industry in the transportation of money or other valuables.
The escort service described in § 81-49 shall be provided as scheduled and directed by the Chief of Police.
A.
Each business or industry shall be entitled to escort service within the confines of the city without charge once in each week. For any additional escort service provided, the fee shall be the sum of twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) for each additional service.
B.
For each escort service requiring travel beyond the confines of the city but not beyond contiguous municipalities, the fee shall be the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.) for each escort service.
C.
There shall be no fee charged for escort service provided to charitable or religious associations or corporations.
All fees for escort services shall be paid to the Police Division and shall be deposited with the Revenue Collections Division within the Department of Finance.
