The Corporate Seal shall be an obverse side
with an impression of a diameter of 1 11/16 inches. It shall
contain a representation of a lake of water, partly surrounded by
growing trees, with sail vessels or yachts or pleasure boats sailing
thereon, and a summer house upon the shore; and with the inscription
"City of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Incorporated September, 1914" which
seal, represented as aforesaid with or without colors, shall be and
is the Seal of the City of Crystal Lake. For general use, the plain
impression in white containing the figure as given above shall be
sufficient.
The City datum and bench marks heretofore established
shall be and remain the datum and bench marks until otherwise provided
by any ordinance of the City.

Through and until April 30, 2024, the fiscal year of the City
shall be from May 1 of each year up to and including April 30 of the
following year. Beginning January 1, 2025, the fiscal year of the
City shall be from January 1 to and including December 31 of each
year. To effect a transition to a calendar fiscal year, following
the close of the fiscal year ending April 30, 2024, the City shall
have a truncated fiscal year for the period of May 1, 2024 to and
including December 31, 2024.
