A.
No person shall ride upon any portion of any vehicle not designed or intended for the use of passengers when the vehicle is in motion. This provision shall not apply to any person whose employment requires him to ride upon portions of a vehicle not normally intended for passengers. Such persons may include but are not restricted to trash collectors, firemen and newspaper deliverymen.
B.
The driver of a vehicle shall not back the same unless such movement can be made with safety and without interfering with other traffic.
C.
No person shall drive any vehicle upon a sidewalks, except to cross a sidewalk at a permanent or duly authorized temporary driveway.
D.
No driver shall enter an intersection or a marked crosswalk unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle he or she is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians, notwithstanding any traffic control signal indication to proceed.
E.
No person on roller skates or riding in or by means of any coaster, toy vehicle or similar device shall go upon any roadway except while crossing a street; and when so crossing, such person shall be granted all of the rights and be subject to all of the duties applicable to pedestrians.
F.
It shall be unlawful for any person to remove, deface, mutilate or alter in any way any official traffic control device, sign, signal or marking erected under the authority of this chapter.
G.
It shall be unlawful for any person to place, maintain or display upon or in view of any public street any unauthorized sign, signal, marking or device which purports to be or is an imitation of or resembles an official device, sign or marking or which attempts to direct the movement of traffic or which hides from view or interferes with the effectiveness of any official traffic control device.
H.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to ride, drive or haul any horse, cow or other like animal upon or over any of the sidewalks in the City.
I.
Except on streets which may be designated by the Mayor and roped off or protected by signs, it shall be unlawful for any person to coast, slide or ride with or on any sled or sleigh or to cause or permit any vehicle, by whatever name called, other than motor vehicles, wagons, carts, bicycles or other similar vehicles, to roll on or run by gravitation along, over or upon any sidewalk, street, alley or highway within the City.
