The words and phrases used in this article,
for the purpose of this article, have the meanings respectfully ascribed
to them by Article 1 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of
New York.
Whenever certain hours are named herein or on
traffic control devices such as signs, they shall mean the time standard
which is in current use in this state.

The provisions of this article shall apply on
all roads within the Town of Clarkson, except for State Highways and
those roads within the Village of Brockport. Nothing herein shall
be construed to prohibit compliance with the directions of a police
officer or law enforcement official nor to prohibit an emergency vehicle
from access in the course of an emergency.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited
on all highways within this Town between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.,
from November 1 to April 1.
Every person convicted of a traffic infraction
for a violation of any provision of this article shall, for a first
conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $50; for
a second conviction within 18 months thereafter, such person shall
be punished by a fine of not more than $100; upon a third or subsequent
conviction within 18 months after the first conviction, such person
may be punished by a fine of not more than $250.
