GENERAL REFERENCES
Garbage, rubbish and littering — See Ch. 252, Art. I.
No person shall kindle or maintain any outdoor rubbish fire or bonfire or authorize any such fire to be kindled or maintained on private land unless:
A. 
The location is not less than 50 feet from any structure and adequate provision is made to prevent fire from spreading to within 50 feet of any structure.
B. 
The fire is contained in an approved waste burner approved by the Fire Marshal located safely not less than 15 feet from any structure.
A violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed $250, imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, for each offense, and each day a violation continues shall be a separate offense.
