No person shall park a vehicle in any of the following places, and vehicles parked in violation of this section may be moved by or under the direction of an officer and at the expense of the owner to a place where parking is permitted:
A.
Within an intersection.
B.
Upon any crosswalk.
C.
Upon any sidewalk.
D.
Upon a roadway where parking is permitted unless both wheels on the right side of the vehicle are within 12 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway, except upon those streets which are designated as one-way streets. On such one-way streets vehicles shall be parked in the direction in which the vehicle is moving and with both wheels within 12 inches of the curb. This shall not apply to streets or parts of streets where angle parking is required by these regulations.
E.
Upon any roadway where the parking of a vehicle will not leave a clear and unobstructed lane at least 10 feet wide for passing traffic.
F.
Upon any street or highway within 10 feet of a fire hydrant.
G.
Upon or in front of any private road or driveway without the consent of the owner of such private road or driveway.
H.
Upon any street or highway within 20 feet of an intersecting way, except alleys.
I.
Upon the roadway in a rural or sparsely settled district.
J.
Upon any street or highway or location marked especially for vehicles for the handicapped or veterans' use, as follows:
(1)
City Hall, south side, one space.
(2)
Essex Street, No. 34, two spaces.
(3)
Main Street, No. 830, one space.
(4)
Shadow Road, No. 12, one twenty-foot space.
(5)
One handicapped space on the easterly side of Tremont Street at Morelli Field.
(6)
A designated handicapped parking space area in front of the YMCA to accommodate those people legally defined as handicapped, to readily gain access to the facility. A two-hour limit should be posted.
(7)
A handicapped parking space in front of 141 Walton Park.
(8)
A handicapped parking space in front of 39 Forest Street.
(9)
A handicapped parking space on Emerson Street, East.
(10)
One handicapped parking space on the east side of Main Street at the northeast corner of Main Street and Foster Street, East.
(11)
One handicapped parking space (one spot behind the bus stop) on the west side of Main Street at the northwest corner of Main Street and Foster Street, West.
(12)
A handicapped parking space at 11 Beacon Place.
(13)
A handicapped parking space at 16 Willow Street.
(14)
A handicapped parking space at 144 Mt. Vernon Avenue.
(15)
A handicapped parking space at 16 Franklin Street, The Franklin Early Childcare Center, first space on the left.
(16)
A handicapped parking space at 21 Crest Avenue.
(17)
A handicapped parking space at 56 West Foster Street.

K.
One drop-off only space just north of the handicapped parking space on the east side of Main Street north of Foster Street, East.
L.
Upon any street or parking lot space marked especially for electric vehicles only, by any vehicles other than vehicles requiring an electric charge and actively charging, as follows:
(1)
The parking spaces adjacent to utility pole #3577 (two spaces) within the Dill's Court parking lot.
(2)
The parking space adjacent to utility pole #674 on Tremont Street, east side.
(3)
The parking spaces adjacent to utility pole #3932-1 (two spaces) in the Wyoming Hill commuter rail parking lot
(4)
The parking spaces adjacent to utility pole #2290 (two spaces) on Berwick Street, near 133 Berwick Street.
(5)
The parking spaces adjacent to utility pole #3967 (two spaces) on Franklin Street, near 200 Franklin Street.
(6)
The parking space adjacent to utility pole #2093 on East Foster Street, between 242 and 248 East Foster Street.
