The Westampton Township and Board of Education Street Hockey Court may
be made available to Westampton Township residents or league teams for street
hockey games under the following conditions:
A. Applications for the use of the hockey court must be
made to the Westampton Township Recreation Director. The Director shall grant
the permit if he deems that the use of the premises for the designated time
and purpose will not interfere with or jeopardize the township's recreation
program or facility. In any case where the Director denies said application
for the use of the premises, he shall state his reasons, in writing, for said
denial within three days of the denial. An applicant may appeal the refusal
of the Director to issue a permit to the Township Committee.
B. The Director of Recreation may establish one or more
special conditions for use of the hockey court in order to protect the facility.
Such special conditions may include:
(1) Hockey teams granted a permit to use the Holly Hills
Hockey Court will be known as "home teams."
(2) There will be a limit of five home teams granted a permit
at one time.
(3) All home team games must be scheduled to be played on
Sundays before 2:00 p.m. Saturday mornings will be reserved for Westampton
Township Recreation youth street hockey games, and Saturdays and Sundays from
2:00 p.m. until dark will be set aside for nonteam play by Westampton Township
residents.
(4) There will be no play on the court after dark or before
8:00 a.m.

(5) All home teams will submit a schedule of games to be
played on the court with their application.
(6) At all times of play, at least one of the teams on the
court must be a home team.
(7) Permits must be renewed yearly.
(8) Any damage that occurs during any game must be reported
to the Recreation Director as soon as possible.
(9) Any home team found violating any part of this chapter
or special conditions will be suspended from playing on the court.
(10) Each home team must carry liability insurance and list
the township and Board of Education as additional insured.
C. Any special conditions which are formulated by said Director
will become conditions of the permit.
D. The Director of Recreation shall require the applicant
to enter into a holdharmless agreement, which agreement shall provide that
the applicant shall agree to save and hold the Township of Westampton and
the Board of Education harmless of and from any and all obligations and liabilities
which may arise in the form of any and all claims or lawsuits in connection
with the use and maintenance of the facilities. The applicant further shall
agree, as part of those provisions, to save and hold harmless the Township
of Westampton and the Board of Education, to defend at the applicant's own
cost and expense any such claims or lawsuits instituted by third parties,
which obligations or liabilities might otherwise accrue against the Township
of Westampton or Board of Education.
E. The permit holder will be responsible for the clean up
of the grounds, including the cleaning of and disposal of all refuse and garbage
at the expense of the applicant after each event. A permit may be revoked
if the area is not kept clean.
F. The applicant shall pay a fee of $100 upon submission
of an application to use the hockey court. At the time the permit is issued,
a fee of $10 per game scheduled to be played on the court must be submitted.
Township-recognized youth programs shall be exempt from payment of the fees.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not
less than $50 not more than $500 for each offense, and a separate offense
shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs
or continues.
