A. 
This provision shall apply to all applicants who apply to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, for a permit to carry a concealed handgun pursuant to § 18.2-308 of the Code of Virginia, or any subsequent amendments or successor provisions thereto.
B. 
In order to determine the applicant's suitability for a concealed handgun permit, the applicant shall be fingerprinted. The fingerprints and descriptive information shall be forwarded through the Virginia State Police to the FBI for a national criminal history record check.
C. 
All fingerprints taken in accordance with this provision shall be handled, maintained and disposed of in accordance with § 18.2-308D of the Code of Virginia.
