Pursuant to the authorization granted by C.G.S. § 9-185, Revision of 1958, Revised to 1987, Constables shall hereafter be appointed by the Board of Selectmen, as the need arises, in lieu of electing Constables under the provisions of C.G.S. § 9-200, Revision of 1958, Revised to 1987.
