Pursuant to provisions of C.G.S. § 9-188 concerning the nomination and election of Selectmen of the Town, each political party shall nominate a candidate for First Selectman and two other candidates for Selectmen, and electors may vote for all the nominees of a party.

In the case of an unsuccessful candidate for First Selectman, votes cast for such person shall be counted as votes for him as a member of the Board of Selectmen.
