Commencing with the biennial election to be held in November 1973, the term of office of the Town Clerk of the Town shall be for a term of four years from the first Monday of January succeeding the election.
Beginning with the biennial state election to be held in November 1972, the terms of office of the Registrars of Voters of the Town shall be for a term of four years from the first Wednesday after the first Monday in January succeeding the election.

The Tax Collector for the Town of Norfolk will be appointed by the Board of Selectmen at their first meeting no earlier than two weeks after the municipal election on November 2, 2021. Any vacancy in the office of the Tax Collector shall be filled by the Board of Selectmen.
