It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to burn, cause to be burned or permit to be burned leaves, brush, trash or any other combustible matter out of doors within the corporate limits of the Town of Henlopen Acres; provided, however, that nothing contained in this chapter shall prohibit the use of outdoor fireplaces or other devices for the preparation of food.

Any violation of the provisions of § 47-1 of this chapter is declared to be a civil offense and is subject to the voluntary assessment and other procedures described in Chapter 55 of this Code.
