All appointed and elected boards, committees, and commissions
required by either state statute or internal rules to hold a public
hearing on any matter within their jurisdiction shall post notice
thereof in compliance with the Open Meeting Law, M.G.L. chapter 30A,
§§ 18 to 25, as it may be amended from time to time,
and shall provide such additional notice as may be required by federal,
state or local law, rule or regulation. Public hearing notices shall
also be posted on the Town website whenever feasible as an additional
means of notification to the general public, but the failure to post
any notice on the Town website as required by these General Bylaws
shall not be deemed to violate the minimum notice requirements of
any section of these General Bylaws.
