Borough of Barnegat Light, NJ Article III Deputy Municipal Clerk

§ 32-10 Creation of position.

There is hereby created the position of Deputy Municipal Clerk for the Borough of Barnegat Light.

§ 32-11 Appointment; term of office.

The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be appointed by the Borough Council and shall serve at the pleasure of Council.

§ 32-12 Powers and duties.

The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Municipal Clerk during such times and for such specific periods as the Municipal Clerk is absent, disabled or otherwise unable to perform his duties. The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall assist the Municipal Clerk in the performance of the duties of the Municipal Clerk's office.
