City of Batavia, NY Article I General Provisions

§ 139-1 Title.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Public Conduct Ordinance of the City of Batavia, New York."

§ 139-2 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to safeguard and protect the public safety, health, comfort and general welfare of the inhabitants of the city and is enacted pursuant to the powers granted to the City of Batavia by § 19 of the General City Law and § 2.2 of the Batavia City Charter.
