As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Minor ways which are used primarily for vehicular service access
to the back or side of properties otherwise abutting on a street.
The duly designated Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Boston
or the Deputy.
The duly designated Engineer of the Town of Boston, or if there is
no such official, the Planning Consultant or Engineer employed by the Town.
The final drawings on which the subdivider's plan of subdivision
is presented to the Planning Board for approval and which, if approved, may
be filed for record with the Erie County Clerk.
The Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Boston.
Minor streets which may be parallel to and adjacent to arterial streets
and highways which provide access to abutting properties and protection from
through traffic.
A comprehensive plan prepared by the Planning Board which indicates
the general locations recommended for various functional classes of public
works, places and structures and general physical development of the Town,
and includes any unit or part of such plan separately adopted and any amendment
to such plan or part thereof.

The plan of the proposed subdivision showing the information required
pursuant to Article IV of these regulations.
The preliminary drawings indicating the proposed layout of the subdivision
to be submitted to the Planning Board for its consideration in accordance
with Article V of these regulations.
Any road, highway, avenue, street, parkway or other way between right-of-way
lines commonly used by the public for street purposes.
The division of any parcel of land into five or more lots, plots,
sites or other division of land for immediate or future sale or for building
development in such a way as to create one or more new streets or which creates
the necessity for the construction of one or more new streets to provide access
to adjacent improved or unimproved land for the development or continued use
thereof in conformance with the laws, ordinances and regulations of the Town
of Boston, the County of Erie or the State of New York.
The Town of Boston and the County of Erie and State of New York.
The duly designated Attorney of the Town of Boston.
The Town Law of the State of New York.
The duly enacted Zoning Law or Ordinance of the Town of Boston.[1]
