Where required by the Planning Board, the developer, at the time of
submission requesting approval of the final plat, shall further file with
the Town a petition, properly executed and in conformity with the Town Law,
requesting the creation of a drainage district for the area included within
the proposed subdivision. Such petition and submission for creation of said
district shall be subject to approval of the Town Attorney as to form, legality
and content.

Where regulations require the installation of underground electrical
utilities, the subdivider shall install, at its cost and expense, underground
wiring connections, high-pressure sodium luminaires and aluminum poles, completely
wired according to lighting specifications approved by the power company servicing
the proposed subdivision and/or the Town of Boston and any political subdivision
or district thereof and in accordance with the most current edition of the
Illuminating Engineering Society of North America Lighting Handbook. Streetlighting
plans so approved shall be submitted by the developer prior to final subdivision
plat approval. The spacing of lighting fixtures on each side of the street
or highway shall not exceed an average distance along each side of the highway
of 175 feet, except where modified upon the express approval of the Town Board,
upon recommendation of the Town Engineer. The type and style of both the luminaire
and the standard are subject to the final approval of the Town Board.
The subdivider of a proposed subdivision within a light district shall
provide streetlighting within the subdivision, as the same shall be determined
to be necessary and appropriate by the Planning Board.
