The City Council of the City of Bradford hereby signifies its intention to organize a Parking Authority under the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended.[1]

Editor's Note: See now 53 Pa.C.S.A. § 5501 et seq. Section 3 of Ordinance 2545, codified herein, directed the proper City officers to cause a notice of the ordinance to be published one time in a newspaper published and of general circulation in the county and in the legal periodical of the county. Section 4 directed the Mayor and City Administrator to file the articles, with proof of publication, with the commonwealth and to do all other things necessary to effectuate the incorporation of the Authority. Section 5 stated the names and addresses and terms of office of the appointees of the Board.
The Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Bradford Articles of Incorporation for said Authority in substantially the following form:
Articles of Incorporation
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  In compliance with the requirements of the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended,[1] the Council of the City of Bradford, a municipal corporation of the County of McKean and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, desiring to organize a Parking Authority thereunder, does hereby certify:
A.
The name of the Parking Authority is "Parking Authority of the City of Bradford."
B.
Said Parking Authority is to be formed under the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended.
C.
The name of the incorporating municipality is the City of Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania.
D.
The names and addresses of its municipal authorities are as follows.[2]
E.
The names, addresses and terms of office of the members of the Board of the Parking Authority of the City of Bradford are as follows.[3]
F.
The ordinance authorizing the creation of said Authority, certified from the records of the Council of the City of Bradford, together with the advertisements of notice of filing these Articles of Incorporation are each submitted herewith.[4]
G.
The term of existence of this Parking Authority of the City of Bradford shall continue to December 27, 2055.
