Whereas the vaccination of canines is necessary,
and the Town receives a funding source for such vaccinations, and
rabies and other such viruses, and it is necessary to protect the
public safety of all residents, an adoption fee has been assessed
by the Town; such fee shall be set annually by resolution by the Council.
These funds shall be collected by the Dog Warden and placed into a
fund for the health and welfare of such animals under the care of
such a facility. These funds shall supplement the Dog Warden's annual
budget.
