Zoning — See Ch. 205.
A Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby created, consisting of five members, each to be appointed for five years, and three alternates to be appointed for one-year terms. Said appointments are subject to § 97-712 of the Village Law and § 910 of the Municipal Home Rule Law. The alternates are to be used in the event of conflict, illness or absence of the regular members to ensure that a five-member Board is present for all applications. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall have all the power, functions and authority pertaining to the Zoning Board of Appeals as now or hereafter provided by the Village Board of Trustees and the laws of the State of New York.
Alternate members will be compensated at the amount of $42.50 per meeting, when they are called to substitute.
