Borough of Riverside, PA Article III Speed Limits

§ 272-7 Maximum speed limits established on certain streets.

The following maximum speed limits are established:

D Avenue	Intersection with First Street to intersection with Eleventh Street	30	At all times
Dewart Street	Intersection with D & H Avenue to Line Street	25	At all times
Gearhart Street	Intersection with D & H Avenue to intersection with Line Street	25	At all times

§ 272-8 Violations and penalties.

No person shall drive any vehicle upon any part of any street listed above at a greater rate of speed than the maximum speed limit prescribed for that part of the street. Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35 and costs. Any person exceeding a maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
