For the purpose of this chapter, the following meanings shall apply:
BUSINESS AREA
Exists when four or more businesses or storefronts adjoin each other and share one or more entrances, parking area(s) or sidewalk(s).
SKATEBOARD
An oblong piece of fiberglass or other material mounted on wheels for riding or standing upon.
DESIGNATED PUBLIC AREA
An area designated by the Stratford Town Council and where notice of such designation is posted. Such designation will continue until rescinded by a majority Town Council.
A. 
A person commits the offense of skateboarding in a business area or a designated public area when that person uses a skateboard on the sidewalk in a business area or in a designated public area.
B. 
A person skateboarding on the sidewalk in a business area or a designated public area will be fined $25 for each offense.
