The lighting system installed on open-air public miniature golf courses
shall be so designed and arranged that the rays from all of the lamps and/or
reflectors forming the lighting system shall not interfere with the comfort
and privacy of the occupants of adjoining or adjacent premises and shall not
dazzle the vision of persons using the public streets.
No licensee shall cause or permit any vocal or instrumental music or
cause or permit any sound by means of any mechanical device or contrivance
to be made for the purpose of entertaining or attracting patrons.
No open-air public miniature golf course shall be operated or conducted
between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Whenever deemed necessary, in the opinion of the Police Director, a
special officer whose employment shall be approved by the Police Director,
in writing, shall be employed by the licensee and stationed at or near the
licensed premises.
The grant of any license under this article with respect to any site
subject to a redevelopment plan adopted by City Council or within the capital
district established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:9Q-1 et seq. shall be subject
to review by the Department of Housing and Economic Development, which may
condition the award of a license on such physical and landscape improvements
to the properly as are needed to ensure the public safety, and to ensure that
the use is not incompatible with adjacent land uses and with the intent of
the redevelopment plan.
Violations of the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, Article
III, General Penalty.
