[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Hyde Park 2-16-1970 by resolution. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A Council is created and shall be hereafter known as the "Conservation Advisory Council of the Town of Hyde Park."
The Town Board of the Town of Hyde Park is hereby authorized to appoint to said Council not less than five persons nor more than nine persons, all of whom shall be residents of the Town of Hyde Park, to serve for a term of two years and shall name one of said persons as the Chairman of said Council.
The Council shall serve without compensation and shall be charged with the duties as set forth in § 64-b of the Town Law.[1]

Editor's Note: Section 64-b of the Town Law as relating to Town Conservation Advisory Councils was repealed by c. 901, L. 1970, which added a new § 239-x, relating generally to municipal conservation advisory councils and conservation boards, to the General Municipal Law.
