§ 46-1 Additional benefits elected.

The Town Board of the Town of Milton does hereby elect to provide the additional pension benefits of §§ 75-e, 75-g and 75-i of the Retirement and Social Security Law, as presently or hereafter amended.

§ 46-2 When effective.

This election shall become effective on the 22nd day of March 1990. The chief fiscal officer and the Town Clerk are authorized to sign the necessary papers with the New York State and local retirement systems.

§ 46-3 Payment of premiums; eligibility criteria; family coverage.

Upon retirement from the Town of Milton, the Town will pay the medical and dental insurance premiums, as set forth in Chapter 38, Article VIII, § 38-65, for all elected and appointed Town of Milton officials and full-time employees who have reached the age of 55 years and have completed 10 or more years of continuous service for the Town of Milton. In any event, the premium paid will cover the retiree and the retiree's family as set forth in said section.
