Pursuant to the authority conferred upon the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Pine by Section 1609 of the Second Class Township Code, Act of May 1, 1933, P.L. 103, as amended, (53 P.S. § 66609[1]), the Wexford Acres Water District No. 1 is hereby created by the Township of Pine for the purpose of entering into contracts, installing waterlines and making assessments upon the property owners abutting said waterlines.

The geographical area to be constituted the Wexford Acres Water District No. 1 shall include those certain properties along Limerick Road in the Township of Pine, designated as Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and a portion of Lot 21 of the Wexford Acres Plan of Lots, as recorded in Plan Book Volume 43, page 141, on September 20, 1948, in the office of the Recorder of Deeds, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. That portion of Lot 21 to be included within the Wexford Acres Water District No. 1 shall include that parcel of property now or formerly of Joseph A. and Elizabeth S. Voll, as conveyed to them by deed dated April 25, 1961, recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at Deed Book Volume 4013, pages 45-48. A plan of the geographical area to be included within the Wexford Acres Water District No. 1 shall also be on file at the Pine Township Municipal Building and may be viewed and inspected during normal office hours.
The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Pine are hereby authorized to do all acts necessary to carry out the terms of this article, including the installation of waterlines within the Wexford Acres Water District No. 1, the entering into necessary contracts therefor and the assessment of abutting property owners in accordance with law, by means of an assessment ordinance or by proceedings before the Board of Viewers of Allegheny County.
