In the event of the resignation of any citizen member or his death or
inability to serve, or his absence from 50% or more of the regularly scheduled
meetings of the Board in any twelve-month period, in which latter event removal
shall automatically occur, the Township Council shall fill said vacancy for
the remainder of the unexpired term.
The Advisory Board of Recreation shall hold regular monthly meetings
at the same time and day of each month in the Township Municipal Building
as set in its organizational meeting in January. Special meetings may be called
by the Chairman on three days' notice to each member of the Board; or upon
three days' notice to all members signed by at least two members of the Board.
The Advisory Board may make and amend rules and regulations concerning the
conduct of its meetings.
The Advisory Board may make recommendations:
A. To the Manager and the Director concerning or relating
to the operation and administration of the Department of Recreation.
B. To the Council concerning or touching upon matters of
policy affecting the Department of Recreation.
C. To the Board of Education concerning or relating to the
use of facilities and the athletic equipment and plant of the school system.
