The use of portable heating equipment employing a flame and any heating
equipment using gasoline or kerosene not connected to a flue is hereby prohibited
in any dwelling, office building, public hall, lodge room, club, business
establishment, commercial building and all places of public assembly.
The presence of the aforesaid equipment within such premises shall be
presumptive evidence of the use thereof in violation of this article.
This article shall be enforced by the Police Department and the Superintendent
of Buildings in addition to the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
