This law will be known as the local law "To Amend the Date for Grievance Day." It is the intent of this law to change the date for the hearing of complaints by the Board of Assessment Review, for the Town of Plattekill, from the first Wednesday after the fourth Tuesday in May, to the first Thursday after the fourth Tuesday in May.

As of the effective date of this law, the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Plattekill shall meet for the purpose of hearing of complaints, as required by Real Property Tax Law § 512, on the first Thursday after the fourth Tuesday in May, and shall meet as many days thereafter as the Board deems necessary. The provisions of this law shall not the construed to change the date for the filing of the tentative roll.
This law shall take effect immediately after it is filed in the office of the Secretary of State, the Town Clerk for the Town of Plattekill and the Office for Real Property Services of the State of New York.
