[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Plattekill 3-2-1994 by L.L. No. 2-1994. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Town Board is hereby authorized to establish, by resolution, from time to time, minimum requirements relating to meeting attendance and training for members of the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.[1] Noncompliance with such requirements shall be grounds for removal. Nothing herein shall limit any other cause which may be grounds for removal.

Editor’s Note: By resolution on 11-17-2010, the number of training hours for the Town Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals members was changed to the New York State-mandated amount of four hours per year, effective 1-1-2011. Said resolution, any amendments thereto, and any additional resolutions establishing minimum attendance and training requirements are on file in the Town offices.
The provisions of this chapter are determined to be consistent with the Town Law. In the event that any provision hereof is held to be inconsistent therewith by any court of competent jurisdiction, this chapter shall supersede such provision of the Town Law, including but not limited to §§ 267, Subdivision 9, and 271, Subdivision 9.
