No part of any public park or other recreational facility owned by the City shall be used exclusively without a reservation from the Director of Recreation and Parks.
The Director of Recreation and Parks may, upon request, reserve in advance designated areas of public parks and recreational facilities for exclusive use; provided, however, that no such reservation shall be granted for:
Any activity any part of which requires any license or permit issued by any other governmental agency of the Commonwealth or the United States.
Any activity which includes the possession or use of alcoholic beverages.
Any activity, whether planned or in progress, which violates any condition stated herein shall be ineligible for a reservation, and any reservation granted to said activity automatically shall become void.
For the purposes of this section, the term "recreational facility" shall include the Community Building and Violet Bank Museum.
Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former § 215-2, Special events, added 10-14-1986 by Ord. No. 86-30, as amended.
Editor's Note: This ordinance also provided that it would not apply to any valid reservation which was granted prior to the effective date of the ordinance.
