Article IV: Watercraft Slips and Piers

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

Includes, but is not limited to, the removal of a single-family residence from any parcel of property or the sharing of access between parcels of land for which there is not a recorded, written agreement for such shared access in effect prior to January 1, 1993.

SLIP AND PIER

Any structure near the water or extending into navigable waters from the shore with water on both sides that is built or maintained for the purpose of providing a berth for watercraft or for loading or unloading cargo or passengers onto or from watercraft. Such a structure may include a boat shelter which is removed seasonally.

WATERCRAFT

Any device used in design for navigation on water.

§ 123-11 Limitation on number of slips/piers.

There shall be no more than two slips/piers per parcel on any newly platted lot, lot where there is a change in use or currently undeveloped lot in the Bass Lake Rehabilitation District, the land contiguous to Furgers Pond and the land contiguous to Perch Lake.
