A. 
Pursuant to authority granted by the Vehicle Code, a handicapped parking place is hereby established and reserved on York Street in the Borough and shall be located in front of 8 York Street, for which the appropriate sign shall be posted.
B. 
Parking of any vehicle not lawfully bearing a handicapped or severely disabled veteran registration plate or displaying a handicapped or severely disabled veteran parking placard when such vehicle is being operated by or for the transportation of a handicapped person or a severely disabled veteran shall be prohibited at all times in the handicapped parking place reserved in front of 8 York Street as established in Subsection A hereof.
C. 
Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon summary conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $200, plus costs of prosecution, together with any other fine separately imposed under the Vehicle Code.

A. 
Pursuant to the authority granted under § 6109(a)(l) of the Vehicle Code to prohibit stopping, standing and parking, it is hereby established that stopping, standing and parking are prohibited at all times on the following portions of the following streets:
(1) 
Berlin Street (S.R. 0516).
(a) 
Eastern side of Berlin Street extending 40 feet four inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle north, extending 67 feet eight inches from curb face at the intersection of East Cedar Street south, and extending 36 feet two inches from curb face at the intersection of East Cedar Street north.
(b) 
Western side of Berlin Street extending 40 feet four inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle north, extending 36 feet two inches from curb face at Berlin Street west, extending 42 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of West Cedar Street south, and extending 36 feet two inches from curb face at the intersection of West Cedar Street north.
(2) 
Baltimore Street (S.R. 0516).
(a) 
Eastern side of Baltimore Street extending 56 feet eight inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle south, extending 37 feet zero inches from the curb face at the intersection of East Sunset View Street north, and extending 37 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of East Sunset View Street south.
(b) 
Western side of Baltimore Street extending 56 feet eight inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle south, extending 37 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of West Sunset View Street north, and extending 37 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of West Sunset View Street south.
(3) 
Hanover Street (S.R. 0341).
(a) 
North side of Hanover Street extending from curb face at the Borough traffic circle west to the curb face of North Spruce Street and extending 35 feet three inches from curb face at the intersection of North Spruce Street west.
(b) 
South side of Hanover Street extending from curb face at the Borough traffic circle west to the curb face of South Spruce Street and extending 35 feet three inches from curb face at the intersection of South Spruce Street west.
(c) 
Both sides of Hanover Street from Emerson Street to a point 100 feet beyond Arch Street.
(4) 
York Street (S.R. 3041).
(a) 
North side of York Street extending 40 feet four inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle east, extending 37 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of North Cherry Street west, and extending 37 feet zero inches from curb face at the intersection of North Cherry Street east.
(b) 
South side of York Street extending 40 feet four inches from curb face at the Borough traffic circle east, extending 37 feet zero inches from the curb face at the intersection of South Cherry Street west, and extending 37 feet zero inches from the curb face at the intersection of South Cherry Street east.
B. 
Designation of no parking. The sections on the above streets on which no stopping, standing or parking is imposed under Subsection A shall be appropriately designated by "No Parking" signs spaced throughout the restriction in a manner that allows a sign to be visible at all times. The sign message shall be a no parking symbol sign.
C. 
Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 in accord with § 3353 of the Vehicle Code, or such other fines and costs as shall be provided under the applicable provisions of the Vehicle Code which may be in effect at the time of the commission of the offense.
D. 
Enforcement. The provisions of this section shall be enforced by any police officer having authority in Jefferson Borough, or any Borough official or representative of the Borough designated by Borough Council to enforce this section.
