A. 
No person shall ride upon the Maplewood jitney bus unless they exhibit a current jitney bus pass or provide the driver with a daily ticket. The cost of the pass on an annual basis (January 1 to December 31) shall be $165. Any pass issued after June 30 of the pass year shall cost 1/2 of the regular pass fee.
B. 
A Township resident may purchase a combined jitney bus pass and parking permit. (See § 257-33.) The cost of the combined pass/permit on an annual basis (January 1 through December 31) shall be $415. Any pass/permit issued after June 30 of the pass/permit year shall cost 1/2 of the regular pass/permit fee.

In addition to the yearly passes, a Township resident may ride on the jitney bus by paying the driver $3 per ride.

The fee for the commuter parking pass beginning January 1, 2026 (January 1 to December 31) shall be $400. Any pass issued after June 30 of the pass/permit year shall cost 1/2 of the regular pass fee.
Jitney bus yearly passes and daily coupon books may be sold to individuals who establish that they are bona fide residents of the Township of Maplewood and shall be issued and/or sold by the Township Clerk upon receipt of proof of residence. No person other than the Township Clerk or his/her designee shall be authorized to issue said permit and/or coupons.
