It is hereby declared to be the legislative
intent that:
A. Should the courts declare any provisions of this chapter
to be invalid or ineffective in whole or in part, the effect of such
decision shall be limited to those provisions which are expressly
stated in the decision to be invalid or ineffective, and all other
provisions of this chapter shall continue to be separately and fully
effective.
B. Should the courts find the application of any provision
or provisions of this chapter to any lot, building or other structure
or tract of land to be invalid or ineffective in whole or in part,
the effect of such decision shall be limited to the person, property
or situation immediately involved in the controversy, and the application
of any such provision to other persons, property or situations shall
not be affected.
This chapter repeals the following:
A. Local Law No. 1-1967, Junk Yards.
B. Local Law No. 1-1970, which amended the Junk Law.
C. Local Law No. 3-1972, Zoning Law.
D. Local Law No. 2-1973, which amended Local Law No.
3 of 1972.
E. Local Law No. 1-1978, which amended Local Law No.
3 of 1972 (commercial to industrial).
F. Local Law No. 2-1978, which amended Local Law No.
3 of 1972 (extend industrial and commercial on Tow Path).
G. Local Law No. 3-1978, which amended Local Law No.
3 of 1972 (extend industrial on Route 34).
H. Local Law No. 1-1980, which added PDD (Implementation
1205).
