City of Lackawanna, NY Article III Holiday Pay for Part-Time Employees

§ 36-9 Fringe benefits for new nonunion employees prohibited.

Any new nonunion employee hired on a part-time basis, including seasonal employees, after the passage of this article shall not be entitled to receive any fringe benefits including holiday pay.

§ 36-10 Provisions of article to be included in letter of appointment and acknowledged by employee.

All department heads shall hereinafter specify the provisions of this article in any letter of appointment. All newly hired part-time and seasonal employees shall immediately acknowledge this by signing a copy of their letter of appointment and filing same with the Lackawanna Civil Service Commission on or before receiving their first payroll check.
