The Town Board of the Town of New Berlin recognizes
the need to have uniformity for procurement and purchases of the Town
of New Berlin. Therefore, the Town Board wishes to establish the position
of Purchasing Officer.
The authority for the Town Board of the Town
of New Berlin to create the position of Purchasing Officer, and appoint
a person to fill that position lies in § 10, Subdivision
1, of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
A.
The Purchasing Officer shall be responsible for receiving
and approving purchase orders, entering debits, submitting bills to
the Town Board, facilitating payment and balancing relevant ledgers
and records concerning purchases and payments.
B.
This position is an annual appointed position, wages
to be fixed by the Town Board.
