In an R-2 Residence District, the following
regulations shall apply.

A. Permitted uses. A building may be erected, altered or used and a
lot or premises may be used or occupied for any of the uses or purposes
permitted in an R-1 Residence District.
B. Conditional uses. The following may be permitted by the Board of Supervisors as a conditional use in the R-2 District only in accordance with §
164-25 and the standards set forth herein:
(1) Meat processing facilities, in accordance with the following:
(a)
Lot area: No less than four acres and no greater than seven
acres.
(b)
No less than 60% of the continuous perimeter of the lot shall
abut nonresidential uses.
(c)
Building coverage: No greater than 20% of the total net lot
area.
(d)
No loading platform shall be located less than 100 feet from
residentially used or zoned property and shall be appropriately buffered
from such residentially used or zoned property with landscaping.
(e)
All meat processing operations shall occur indoors.
(f)
No animals shall be kept or slaughtered on the lot.
