The City of Mayville operates under the Mayor-Council system of government.
Election officials for each polling place shall be appointed pursuant to §§ 7.30, 7.31 and 7.32, Wis. Stats.
A. 
Allowing split shifts for election officials.

(1) 
The City Clerk is authorized to establish different times/split shifts for the work of the election officials on election day.
(2) 
This subsection does not apply to Chief Election Inspectors.
All candidates for elective City office shall file nomination papers pursuant to § 8.10, Wis. Stats.

The polls of the City shall be opened from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all elections.

The polling places for all electors of the City shall be in designated areas located in the City Hall.

B. 
Aldermanic districts. Six Aldermanic Districts are created by this section, defined as follows:
(1) 
Aldermanic District 1 shall consist of Ward 1.
(2) 
Aldermanic District 2 shall consist of Ward 2.
(3) 
Aldermanic District 3 shall consist of Ward 3.
(4) 
Aldermanic District 4 shall consist of Ward 4.
(5) 
Aldermanic District 5 shall consist of Ward 5.
(6) 
Aldermanic District 6 shall consist of Ward 6.

The Common Council does hereby create a ward plan consisting of six wards as follows:
A. 
Ward 1, containing a 2020 population of 886 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 14.
B. 
Ward 2, containing a 2020 population of 856 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 13.
C. 
Ward 3, containing a 2020 population of 807 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 13.
D. 
Ward 4, containing a 2020 population of 986 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 14.
E. 
Ward 5, containing a 2020 population of 832 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 14.
F. 
Ward 6, containing a 2020 population of 829 and comprising a part of tentative Supervisory District 13.
There is attached to and made a part of this article a map of the City of Mayville which illustrates the revised boundaries of the above-listed wards.[1]
