A. 
The Board of Health of the Borough shall consist of seven members who shall be residents within the Borough; provided, however, that at least one member shall be a licensed physician in good standing if there is one eligible within the Borough who will accept the appointment.[1]

B. 
The members of the Board shall be nominated and appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council.
A. 
The term of office of the several members of the Board shall be four years, commencing on the first day of April.
B. 
If any vacancy occurs in the membership of the Board, such vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term only, by nomination and appointment in the manner provided in § 41-2.
