A. 
Parking. All vehicles must park only in designated areas and between the lines provided.
B. 
Handicapped parking. All stalls shall be 12 feet wide as shown on the attached site plan[1] and signed with R7-8 (reserved parking sign and penalty plate) in the designated parking areas for persons who have been issued the handicapped parking permits by the Division of Motor Vehicles.

C. 
Loading zone. The following areas designated on the attached site plan as "loading"[2] shall be the only loading zones on the site, and all loading and unloading shall take place in those designated areas. No loading or unloading shall be allowed in any nondesignated loading areas.

D. 
Speed limits.
(1) 
The speed limits for both directions of traffic in the parking lots shall be 15 miles per hour.
(2) 
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits authorized by the Department of Transportation.
E. 
Tow-away zones. Any vehicle parked or standing so as to obstruct or impede the normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exitways, loading zones, oil fills, any grass area or pedestrian walkways or which may present a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owner's or operator's expense.
F. 
Signage. All signs, posts or other necessary materials shall be installed and paid for by the applicant. Work shall be checked by the Mantua Township Police Department to ensure that installations meet state and federal specifications, and all signing shall conform to the current New Jersey Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
G. 
Violations and penalties. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of this section or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $200 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days or possible loss of license for willful violations, or any combination thereof, as may be set by the respective Municipal Court. Violators may plead guilty to any violation hereunder and make payment of a minimum fine which shall be set by the Municipal Court in the statutorily accepted manner for scheduling of minimum payments of fines and costs by paying such amount to the Mantua Township Violations Bureau. In such cases, no court appearance shall be required.

H. 
Effect of regulations. If any part of this regulation is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of the regulation.

A. 
Pursuant to the authority conferred by N.J.S.A. 39:5A-1, the provisions of Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes shall be applicable to the Chestnut Branch Linear Park off of Mantua/Barnsboro Road (C.R. 553A) in the Township of Mantua, County of Gloucester, and State of New Jersey.
B. 
The traffic flow restrictions and parking restrictions as contained on the parking plan for the Chestnut Branch Linear Park Phase IIIA and IIIB improvements, as prepared by Remington and Vernick Engineers, dated November 1999, Sheet 1 of 1, Drawing No. 0810T143, shall be and is hereby approved by the Township Committee of the Township of Mantua for enforcement by the Mantua Township Police Department and officials of the State of New Jersey.
C. 
It shall be unlawful to park vehicles in said Chestnut Branch Linear Park in any areas other than those designated as parking areas and only within the painted lines in said area.
D. 
Unless another penalty is expressly provided for by the New Jersey Statutes, every person convicted of violation of a provision of this section shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days, or both.
E. 
Unless another meaning is clearly apparent from the language or content of this section or unless inconsistent with the manifest intent of the Township Committee, words and phrases herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to the same words and phrases by N.J.S.A. 39:1-1.
F. 
A certified copy of this section shall be mailed to the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of New Jersey for approval.
