Any person found to be violating any of the provisions of this chapter or federal or state pretreatment requirements, except Article
V, shall be served by the Village with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.

Except as provided in Article
XI, §
205-64, any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished, upon conviction, by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 for each violation. Each day that a violation of or failure to comply with any provision of this enactment or any regulation promulgated hereunder by the Board of Trustees occurs shall constitute a separate and distinct misdemeanor.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become
liable to the Village for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the Village
by reason of such violation.
