Any violation of the rules, regulations and
charges for the water district of the Town of Newburgh is hereby declared
to be a misdemeanor and shall render the owner of the land whereon
the same occurs or the tenant or the person causing the violation
or any other person guilty of a violation thereof liable to a fine
not to exceed the sum of $1,000. or to imprisonment for a period of
not more than 30 days, or both. Each week's continued violation after
notice thereof shall constitute a separate additional violation and
misdemeanor.
