The Town Board wishes to require a countersignature on all Town checks
signed by the Town Supervisor and to facilitate obtaining both signatures
in an efficient and timely manner. Therefore, the Queensbury Town Code is
hereby amended by adding a new article entitled "Designation of Required Countersignature
on Town Checks." This article is adopted in accordance with Municipal Home
Rule Law § 10.
All Town checks signed by the Town Supervisor shall be countersigned
by any other member of the Town Board.
