The City of Coatesville shall become subject to the provisions of the Fourth to Eighth Class County Assessment Law pursuant to authority granted to said city by said Act of Assembly (72 P.S. § 5453.104).
The predetermined ratio of one hundred percent (100%) shall be applied to the market valuation supplied by the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes of Chester County to determine assessed values for tax purposes in the City of Coatesville for the year 1982 and thereafter.
A copy of this chapter, signed by the President of Council, attested by the City Secretary, setting forth the names of the members of the Council and recording their vote, shall be filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The provisions of this chapter shall become effective upon the filing of a certificate from the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the minutes of this Council and the recording of the same in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
