3-13-1954 ATM, Art. 19
Section 1. Voted to adopt the provisions of Sections 46 to 60, inclusive, of Chapter 80 of the Revised Statutes of Maine, 1944, and any and all Acts amendatory thereto, entitled "Authority to elect by secret ballots in towns.[1]"
Section 2. Voted that in addition to the officers of the town required by law to be elected by ballot, the following officers shall likewise be elected by ballot, to wit: Trustee of the Town of Shapleigh School District; Road Commissioner for the Northern District; Road Commissioner for the Southern District; Tax Collector; and Constable.
3-9-1963 ATM, Art. 39
Voted to accept the provision of the Revised Statutes of 1954, Chapter 90-A, Sec. 61,[2] and authorize and direct the Board of Selectmen to appoint members of a Planning Board who in turn would be authorized to join and appoint representatives to a York County Regional Planning Commission in accordance with Section 64 of the same statute.
3-9-1963 ATM, Art. 40
Voted to accept Section 37-A of Chapter 90-A of the Revised Statutes[3] providing for the casting of absentee ballots at all regular elections of town officials.
3-13-1965 ATM, Art. 41
Voted to accept the provision of the Revised Statutes of 1964, Chapter 90-A, Section 64,[4] and authorize the Board of Selectmen to appoint representatives to the York County Regional Planning Commission.
