The Historical Commission of the Charter Township of East China shall
consist of seven members.
The Historical Commission shall select its own officers and shall be
a public body for all purpose under Michigan law.

A. State or federal government grants. The local legislative
body may accept grants from the state or federal governments for historical
restoration purposes.
B. Public or private gifts. It may accept public or private
gifts for historical purposes.
C. Commission duly appointed agent. It may make the Historical
Commission its duly appointed agent to accept and administer grants and gifts
for historical preservation purposes.
