All residential, commercial, industrial and other types of occupied buildings within the town shall each be assigned an identification number according to a scheme of numbering adopted by the Town Council.

The owner of each building shall place the assigned number on his or her building. The numbers placed on a building shall be legible and of a sufficient size so as to be visible from the public street.
The Town Manager shall encourage local civic organizations to sell and install identification numbers and the Town Manager shall otherwise publicize and promote the implementation of the town building number system.
