As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ANY AREAThe parking lot area plus the shooting range proper.
BERMA continuous bank of earth located directly behind each target frame.
CLAY PIGEONA saucer-shaped target usually made of baked clay and pitch and thrown from a trap in skeet and trap shooting.
DISCHARGETo cause a projectile to be expelled from.
FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGEAny liquid capable of being used for beverage purposes made by the alcoholic fermentation of an infusion in potable water of barley malt and hops, with or without unmalted grains or degerminated grains or sugar, containing 1/2 of 1% of alcohol or more by volume.
FIREARMA weapon from which a projectile is expelled by gunpowder or by any other means.
INTOXICATING LIQUORAll distilled or vinous liquors containing 1/2 of 1% of alcohol or more by volume.
OPERATETo drive or to be in actual physical control of a vehicle.
PARKThe halting of a vehicle, whether occupied or not.
PARKING LOT AREAThat area located south of the township road and that triangular area located north of the township road bounded by the township road on the south side and bounded by a fence on the north and east sides.
PROJECTILEA body projected by external force and continuing in motion by its own inertia.
RANGE INDICATORSOfficially established target tables and pistol range barricades and concrete pads.
TARGET FRAMEA framework of wood designed for the affixation of paper targets and located in a direct line between a range indicator and its respective berm.
VEHICLEEvery device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, including a snowmobile.
