Village of Westfield, WI Chapter 430 Smoking

§ 430-1 Statutory authority.

Section 101.123(2)(a)(10), Wis. Stats., prohibits smoking in any enclosed indoor area of a municipal building. Section 101.123(2)(c), Wis. Stats., also allows municipalities to enact ordinances or adopt policies to further enhance the purpose of the statute.

§ 430-2 Municipal buildings and vehicles.

All Village of Westfield buildings and motor vehicles are designated by this chapter to be smoke free and smoking is therefore prohibited therein.

§ 430-3 Violations and penalties. [1]

Any person who willfully violates this chapter after being advised by an employee of the Village that smoking in the area or vehicle is prohibited shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter 1, § 1-3 of this Code.
